Have you ever felt that your life was spinning out of control????
Well, that was me last week and I had a total melt down!
I returned to work after vacation and worked Mon., Tues. and Wed. , only had Thurs. night off and then worked Fri., Sat. and Sun. I am finally off Monday and Tuesday nights!
Last week I had to finish up some painting projects I started while I was off for vacation, made 5 wreaths and more goodies which you will see shortly, for my new vendor space at the Market Place, worked up at the flea market garage ( I run our church's biannual flea market) and tried to get something together with our sons for Father's Day and had a total hair makeover yesterday!!!
Friday came along and I was totally exhausted and even though I had committed to participate in last week's Pink Saturday and Where Bloggers Create, I just could not find the time to First, clean my Craft/Sewing Room and Second, actually do the post. So I had to drop out of those parties much to my dismay! But it was an attempt to keep my sanity!
If you would like to see my Craft/Sewing Room, please click on the link to the photo album on the sidebar or click HERE
Also, Since it is summer and there are so many things to do , I do need to cut back on my posts because spare time is almost nonexistent for me right now.
SO I will be linking one or two posts per week to a whole bunch of different parties and I will TRY to visit everyone throughout the week. PLEASE understand!!!
So here are the parties that I am linking up to with this post and for more info, the links to these parties are on my sidebar.
TEA CUP TUESDAY
TEA TIME TUESDAY
GARAGE SALEN PARTAY
SHOW AND TELL FRIDAY
PINK SATURDAY
Here is a sweet little tea cup that I actually cannot remember what I paid for it at a flea market
in Danville, Pa.
I fell in love with it because of the figures on both the cup and the saucer.
It also has that lusterware shine!
Love the cute rose inside of the cup!
There are no markings on the bottom of the cup nor the saucer!
Now I want to show you my first attempt at painting metal.
This was the very first piece I ever bought at a yard sale many years ago and I paid $5.00 for this brass candleabar ( spelling??)
I thought it was in need of a redo so I dabbled with some pink paint a bit and also added some crystals that I had.....
My last post I showed you a darling plant stand that I bought at a church flea market for $5.00. Here it is painted yellow....
I need to add some garden pretties and some potted plants to it.
Here is where I decided it would find a home.....
The little side table was also a flea market find. It was green and I used Valspar Plastic paint to paint it white.
Maybe......
And the other side.....
I won several giveaways.... I know, I know.... hubby Joe insists that even though he is the mail man, I am the one who stepped in something.....
I won Jennifer's Memorial Day Giveaway over at Just Coffee Please
Thanks so much!!! I know I will have fun with all of these goodies!!
And I won another great Giveaway from Mary over @ Rose Brook Cottage
I added a little dome to the beautiful pedestal dish and some faux pastries....
I just love my gifts from Mary!!! Thanks so much!!
When I decided to rent a vendor space at a new shop in town, it was a spur of the moment decision even though it has been my dream for a long time. I really did not have much inventory left from previous Craft Fairs but I put everything I had in my new space.
Now I have started to make more items.....
Mauvey Rose is my signature colors because of my Victorian Style.....
I used the beautiful ivory venice rose lace that I bought last week from the Lace Guy!!
I will be taking these gooodies down to my space tomorrow..
After I finish the matching hand mirror....
Okay, so that is it for me for this week!!
I will try to get to visit everyone from the different parties that I am joining but PLEASE keep in mind that I will be doing it over the next week!!!
Thanks for stopping by today and everyday that you take the time to visit me!!!
Hugs,
Debbie

Hi Debbie! Oh my gosh, do I understand where you're coming from?!! I think EVERYBODY in Blogland seems to be feeling it right now! It's just Summertime, people are out and about, vacationing, etc., etc... Your creations are just gorgoeous. I doubt they will be for sale for long. You do a beautiful job on your crafts.
Your cup is very pretty too. I have seen some like that and they were marked made in Japan. Japan makes cups with that pearly finish.

You know, Debbie, you have to do what you need to do. I am just getting back to blogging after a 15 month hiatus. I had blogged here for a couple years, but last year, I was overwhelmed with some painful circumstances, and I just needed time to work through things. So, I disengaged from blogging...and now, I'm able to blog again. So, for this season, you will blog less, and that's okay.
Anyhow, the teacup is lovely!! Amazing what you can find at garage sales and thrift stores, huh?
You did a beautiful job on the candelabra!!
Your garden is lovely.
And I love the gift you won. What generous bloggers out there to do such lovely giveaways.
Have a lovely day,
Patti (Fill My Cup with Beauty)

It does sound like you could use a bit more time. I do love that little yellow plant stand you painted...your garden looks great :) And your mauvey-rose items are just lovely. Try and take it a little easier. Visiting from Show and Tell~
Hi Debbie Sweetie...
Thank you so much for stopping by to say hi. I have so missed blogging.
I adore your post today, and those mauve goodies are just beautiful. What an awesome job you did. I had never thought of covering a mirror like that. It is so special. Thank you for sharing.
I love your stand and the garden is gorgeous. What a peaceful place to spend some quiet time. I love it. I could sit out there for a week and still not see everything. Your bird bath, your gazing balls, the gardens, oh sweetie, how beautiful. I thank you for sharing.
I go back to the doc July 9th. He will discuss then when he is going to release me to go back to work. It has been almost 2 months now. I am so tired of being inside, but am following the rules as I do NOT want to spend another 8 days in the hospital for a very LONG time. On July 2nd I go to see the Ear, Nose and Throat doc. They want to go down my throat and look around, especially at my larynx. I am still so hoarse that I can hardly talk, they believe it is just from the excessive coughing, but want to make sure.
Thank you for your love and prayers. I hope to be back in the saddle again more permanently. Country hugs and much love, Sherry
Whew! You are back, and then some. You have been so busy that I need to go lie down after reading all about it.
:-)
Lovely things -- love the painted plant stand, so cute on the porch. Love the pink candelabra, too -- beautiful transformation.
Lovely post! Cass

Thanks for stopping by. It sounds like you are really busy. I love your patio and garden.

Debbie,
I DO understand! Take it easy, dear friend. I must be the slowest blogger out there, with only about one to two posts per week. This week I joined about half a dozen blog parties with just one post! But that's all I could do right now with a busy family life. You outdid yourself with this one post. Enjoyed reading it and all your lovely pictures. Have a great weekend!
HAPPY PINK SATURDAY DEBBIE,
YOU KNOW I AM YOUR BIGGEST FAN AND I ADORE YOUR PATIO. I LOVE, LOVE IT. I'M GLAD YOU SHOWED THE WHOLE GARDEN. DOES THE BACK GATE LEAD TO PARKING OR WHERE DOES IT GO....
HOW IS THE BUSINESS GOING
BE SURE TO SLOW DOWN JUST A LITTLE, OKAY.

Debbie, Happy Pink Saturday! I understand about being busy, and I'm going to take a month's break soon. I'm starting to feel I can't keep up either, but I've determined to visit everyone who visits me.
Love what you did with your pretties, and your outdoor area looks delightful! And you did a good job with the pink candelabra, too. I get nervous about painting metal, but I'm going to take a cue from you girls and try!
Happy Pink Saturday to you...

Wow, you've really been busy, Debbie! Me, I was just relaxing on the cruise except when we were on excursions. I love your porch, so pretty and iniviting and that teacup set is gorgeous!...Christine
Hi, Thank for stopping by Spindle Cottage. I have a tea cup similar to the one you have shown, but it doesn't have the people on it ;-). I love the mother of pearl type inside of yours and mine. There is something magical when it comes to drinking from it. I do love what you have done with the candle stick---man oh man, pink is really growing on me! I also love your plant stand!! I have never seen one like that and it almost has an oriental feel to it. Your porch area is darling as well as your garden area--just love it.
Oh Debbie, your patio and your yard are both so lovely! That's such a great little plantstand that you painted, and that candelabra looks amazing painted pink!
Happy Pink Saturday!
Carol
Happy PiNk, Debbie...
Seriously, I almost had a meltdown just readint this post! ha ha Really...what are you superwoman? I am so impressed with all that you do and work fulltime to boot..just amazing.
Years ago the first time I ever rented any sort of space for my stuff was in an old house that allowed "square footage" to be rented...well, I threw them a curve ball when I walked in and said that I crocheted...nothing was all that large and that I owned a lovely 3 foot wide x 6 foot tall baker's rack that I wanted to bring in to display everything...that was ALL the space I needed. They looked at me odd..LOL then thought just for a minute and showed me what spots they had available....it all worked out just great...and it didn't cost me much as all for my space.
I hope you do well and have lots of fun with it...these days it seems that "fun plus extra money" have a new meaning with this crazy economy.
Well I guess I've rambled long enough..you take care and I do completely understand on the posting reduction. We've been doing projects in the house steady now for over a month and my posting is at a low like it was when I first began blogging..but I'll be back..just have so much stuff I want to get finished.
Hugs,
Stephanie ♥

Oh my goodness Debbie, you have been a busy lady. Your sure do make beautiful items and I know they will be snatched up right away at your new place. Make lots for Christmas time. I love your little yard. I think it's so sweet. Sometimes I wish we had just a little space to work with instead of acres. I hope you and your sweetheart have a wonderful 4th holiday. :) P.S. I hope you didn't notice that I snitched one of your goodies in your pretty blog header. It tasted so good. :) xo Lynn
