So for 2011, I am going to aspire to be HAPPY!!

I am going to wake up every day and find the things that make me Happy. I will chose to be Happy everyday!

No matter how cloudy or gray the skies in my life may be, no matter what life may bring my way, I aspire to be ......

HAPPY!

BUT to do so, I need to be GRATEFUL!

Grateful for all the things that I have listed above that make me HAPPY!
And I am truly GRATEFUL for all things that I am blessed with in my life that make me HAPPY!

So won't you join Robyn, as I have, and decide what will be your One Little Word for 2011????

Best laid Plans......

Sorry I haven't " been around ". About 4 pm on Christmas Day, the dreaded intestinal flu hit me like a ton of bricks.
Luckily, I had all of dinner made but poor Joe had to put it out on the table as I was upstairs you know where.....
After vomiting for over 8 hours, fever of 102 and other symptoms that I will be kind not to mention, I am just starting to feel better this morning......
I have finally crawled out of the bathroom and out of bed.....

Missed all the after Christmas sales so far but it was not foremost on my mind at the time....

I will post again when I am feeling a bit better.....

Hugs,
Debbie

Hello!

I want to thank everyone who voted for me in our local newspaper's Holiday House Contest.
But because of the possibility of casting numerous votes from the same site, I have withdrawn from the contest in the name of fairness!

I have already won the biggest contest in my life being a cancer survivor and with friends like all of you , I already am a winner!

Thanks and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Hugs,
Debbie

I would appreciate your vote!!

I have been selected as one of 9 finalists in our local newspaper's Holiday House Contest.

The 8 other entries showcased their outdoor decorations while I submitted my 14 Christmas trees!

Here are the ones they showcased on their web site......
