Pink Valentine's Decor, Trees # 2 and 3 and A Celebration!

I know I promised you details of my Blog Anniversary Giveaway today since yesterday, Jan. 28 was the one year anniversary of when I created Debbie-Dabble.

Unfortunately, the last few days have been very busy and I have not been able to find the time to devote to the special post and giveaway in celebration of my Blog Anniversary that I wanted to so I am delaying one week until next Saturday. Pink Saturday was the very first Blog Party I joined on Jan. 30, 2010 and it was my second post on Debbie-Dabble. So please forgive me and please come back next Saturday to enter my Giveaway!

I started this post at 5:30 am so I could show you what I have been up to because today will also be a busy day as Joe is off and we are going to the Home Show at our Arena and I have work tonight.

I want to share with you all of my Pink Valentine's Day Decorations, starting with my PINK Dining Room Feather Tree which is Valentine's Tree # 2.

This is a feather tree that I bought in Bon Ton several years after after Christmas on Clearance.

Can you see the gold hearts hanging from the Chandy? Once again, Christmas ornaments!

My Buffet....

Some close ups...

The photo that is in the picture frame is of my maternal grand mother who is on the left and her cousin. Can you see that I resemble her a bit?

Now this is tree # 3 all decorated in pink and white for Valentine's Day....

Some heart boxes at the base which is wrapped in pink and white tulle.
Also there are pink and red heart lights on this tree with pink beaded garland.

I wanted to use the Pink LED lights that I bought after Christmas on this tree but when I went to add them to the white lights, I thought they looked lavender rather then pink when they were lit up so I decided against them, at least for this tree......

Close ups of some of the ornaments.....

I have a total of 5 trees decorated for Valentine's Day. That is because I am lazy! It is far easier for me to leave up some of the 14 trees that I decorated for Christmas and just re do them instead of having to take them down all at once.

Now I would like to show you some pinks in my Kitchen which is mostly decorated in red for Valentine's Day but that will be another post.

This is a little vignette that I put together on my desk in the Kitchen.
See the PINK heart bowl???

I was inspired by fellow bloggers to create a little Candy bar...

And I just had to add the little snowman holding up a heart....

Some PINK heart Cookie magnets on my oven hood....

And a Cookie Jar with PINK flowers on top of the refrigerator...

Back in the Dining Room....

Some Pink Hearts that I made....

And another pink heart from Micheal's....

My Birthday is Monday, Jan. 31st and I am working as usual.
Joe and the boys decided to celebrate my Birthday last evening since I was off.
We ordered Pizza and Stromboli and of course , cake!

Danielle, Jim and Joey as you go around the table....

I am not big on celebrating Birthdays and we usually just have a quiet small celebration with just the 5 of us.....

Yesterday, I packed up and closed my Vendor space in the Antique Co Op . They have raised the rent and also now are requiring vendors to be present for 6 hours of work a month or pay more money. I do not have the time to do that and since the majority of my items are under $20.00 , I would have to sell a lot to make any profit. And I must say that it was a lot of work and required more time than I was able to give to it since I already am working full time. I may return to selling some of my crafts on Ebay in the future.......

Right now my Craft/Sewing room is ripped apart because I am trying to fit one of the shelf units from my vendor space in there...

And I have to find the right place for this sweet 13 inch TV that Joe gave to me as one of my Birthday gifts.....

I wanted this for awhile as I can not fit a larger TV in my Craft Room and this will be just perfect!

Please stop back next Saturday for my Blog Anniversary Giveaway!!

I am worn out just reading your post. I do not know how you do it all. I have often wondered about having a booth in one of the antique malls. I could not see how they could afford the space rent and hardly sell things. You are one amazing lady with more pretty things than anyone I have ever seen. You truly are blessed with a lovely home filled wit your great decorating ideas.

Oh my Goodness Gracious Debbie!! There is soooo much wonderful treasures to see in these photos!! Wow!! It's all so beautiful ~ Sorry to hear that you had to close down your booth; another option to sell some of your items would be on Etsy...it's waaaaaay cheaper to sell on Etsy than on Ebay in regards to the fees that each charges.

Have a wonderful Pinkalisious day, and do try to get some rest..don't overdue yourself:)

Warmest hugs, Brenda

Your tree is beautiful - I can definitely see that you love pink! I understand about the booths in the Antique Stores - I had one and pulled out last year - my sales were good but I thought the rent was too high for the amount of space we had. I don't reall miss it either. Have a great weekend,
Brenda

Happy Birthday Debbie, That has to be the most beautiful valentine tree I ever saw, the large one in your dining room. I am going to nickname you "bunny" in honor of the energizer bunny. You simply tire me out just reading all you do.
Hope you and Joe enjoyed the Home Show. I also like the little candy bar, my grandsons would love that! Again, happy birthday my dear new friend. BTW I actually joined Pink Saturday today, lol, maybe just a tad of your energy has rubbed off on this lady who loves being lazy and retired.

Oh Debbie, tree #3 is spectacular! And I love the idea of setting up a little candy bar. But isn't that just way too much temptation? I think I'd be refilling all the jars and bowls every couple of days!
Happy REDnesday!

Dear Debbie,
A belated Happy Birthday to you, my sweet friend! I do love your trees! The feather tree is especially cute. Sounds like you had a wonderful birthday celebration with your family. And won't you enjoy your new TV in your craft room! What a wonderful hubby you have! I wonder, has he had to deliver mail in this terrible weather we've been having. The monstrous snow storm is supposed to hit us later today but by then my hubby should be home safe off the streets. Sorry you had to close your booth but I'm sure it won't slow you down any. You always have something fun to do. Have a wonderful day.

Blessings,
Sandi

Hi Debbie,

Happy Blogaversary to you!
Your Valentines trees are fabulous
{as are ALL of your trees}

I can fully understand needing to
shut down your space. In my eyes you
are already "superwoman" but I do
believe it drew the line with them
wanting you to work 6 hours per month.

Selling online is more popular then
ever so it may prove to be better for
you in the long run.

This is my first Rednesday and I was
tickled to see you are a part of it.
I've been sick and this year seems to
have been filled with that and SNOW in
an unusual amount for us.

Have a wonderful day and please drop by
if you can find a spare minute....hee hee

Hugs to you,
Stephanie ♥
