Great Buys and Craft Room Tea Cup and Rose Tree

Today I want to show you some new things that I recently bought but first I want to thank all of you for your kind words of support and understanding in regards to my Tribute to my Mom on the anniversary of her passing.
Your words mean more to me than you will ever know!

If you missed, Remembering my Mom, please click HERE

First up is this sweet pair of birdies! Joe bought these for me using his comp points at Mohegan Sun Casino. They will find a home in my Living Room.

Next are 2 darling tin plaques that I bought at a Market Place that recently opened up in an old WalMart store. They closed one WalMart when they opened a new Super WalMart down the street. I will have more things to show you later on in the week that I bought at the Market Place.
These were $7.00 a piece.

Then I went to the end of the month Half Price sale at my favorite Thrift Store, Volunteer's of America.
I bought these cute dishes.

The dinner plates came out to 45 cents a piece with half price and the tea cups, saucers and creamer were only 30 cents each.

I loved the pattern on them. I thought they would be cute for a Tea for Two or they might find a home in my Craft/Sewing Room.

Later in the week, I will show you more of my buys from the Half Price Sale.

Now you know I LOVE trees. To decorate trees that is.

After all, I had 14 Christmas trees this year. See my sidebar for pics if interested.

I had several Valentine's Day Trees and now I have Easter Trees.

I wanted to leave up the 6 foot slim tree in my Craft Sewing Room. I love the way a tree looks in there , lit at night , casting a warm glow.....

So I decided to decorate my Craft Room tree with roses and tea cups and leave it up year round.
I will re- decorate it for Christmas , of course!

Now am I crazy or what???????

The pink ribbon with a gold sheen to it was purchased at Micheal's after Christmas for 75% off.

There are silk rose lights on the tree that I bought many years ago for Christmas. I also stuck pink and white roses into the tree.

Two white feathers and a spring flower spring at the top with a Doll's Head that has the same pink with a gold sheen to her hat.

Just a few ornaments..... regular tea cups that I do not have saucers to match....

Some actual tea cup and tea pot ornaments....

Pink tulle is wrapped around the tree for garland....

Butter Fly ornament clips I bought at 75% off at Target this year after Christmas..... They were $1.25.

A Seed packet ornament that I won last year in a giveaway from Marydon over at
Blushing Rose.

Do you see the beautiful spider on the tree? That is from my dear friend, Anne Marie. I will tell you the story of the spider in a later post.

A lamp and a mouse in a tea cup ornament...
And I love the church ornament trimmed in pink.... reminds me of summer weddings....

Another butterfly.....

And there she is...... My Craft Room Tea Cup and Rose Summer Tree!!

I know..... it is an addiction!

Now I want to show you this sweet little girl's dress I bought for half price making it $3.00!!

Do I have any little girl's in the family????? Nope!!

But I am thinking maybe a tree skirt for my Tea Cup and Rose tree????
What do you think????

I have been playing around in the Craft room....

I bought this mirror at a flea market some time ago for $1.00. I replaced the message board that I had in this spot originally, draped some sheer pink fabric for a curtain effect and added some of the ornament doll heads that I collect.

I also hung a stained glass flower plaque and I love the reflection of the tree in the mirror.

A few weeks ago, I showed you a wall tin that I bought on Ebay.

I hung it in the Craft Room above the closet doors. I love how the roses on it matches the border in this room.....

I also bought another one that I hung in my Living Room...

This one has a Bridal Style to it.....

I also loved the peach in it as peach is so hard to find nowadays.

These plaques were $12.00 plus shipping. I thought that was a great price.

Click HERE for the link to the seller's Ebay store if you are interested.

Hi Debbie,
I love your tree and we have the same ribbon! I decorated my Christmas tree with that same pink and gold ribbon! Do we think alike or what? Love the little shoe and all the tea things. Your tree is darling! That pink dress is adorable! I think I would just hang it on a pretty hanger and show it off. Hope you're having a wonderful week.

Debbie, Thank you for being happy we got out of bathroom alive. I so hate the threat of a tornado and we have never had to wait it out in our bathroom. Have to tell you, it ironic, lately I have had such an urge for tin plaques. I so love yours. I have no room unless I give something away so I won't even touch that ebay seller (I think) but you made such great deals on your items. Bless his heart, Joe is always brining you "love gifts". Such cute birdies, but then as you will see in my post today, I love birdies. Your trees are beautiful. You really need a store of your own sweetie. How you would fit it into your already packed life, I have no clue but everything you touch just turns stunningly beautiful. Big hugs!

Hello and Happy Pink Saturday, Dear Debbie!
You are such a smart girl to leave your tree up and dress it up the way you did! It is so girly, so feminine and just the best way to show off beautiful cups that have lost their saucers! And, of course, roses....It is all so delightful!

What a beautiful little girls dress and it would make a beautiful skirt for under your tree. If you do make it into a tree skirt, I hope you will show us!

You are an amazing lady. I think your tribute to your mom is beautiful. I lost my mom in Nov 2001. But my dad and unborn daughter Rachel on Good Friday two years apart. My oldest sis passed away in 2001 too and her birthday was March 27th. The Spring is hard for me starting out and then I see all the new life and I smile cause my parents and oldest sis were terrific gardeners. Love to you today and always! Anne
