THE CHRISTMAS DECORATING HAS BEGUN 2011!!!!

Yes, the Christmas decorating has begun!!

I have also changed the look of Debbie-Dabble to reflect the Holiday season!!

My new Header picture is the top shelf of a shelf unit in my Craft Room.

I have had the entire upstairs decorated for some time now but I still have to wait to share it with you because there are now boxes all over the place upstairs......

I am off all this week and it will be a hectic week.

We needed to repair our platform that we use under the Living Room tree because last year, I put my foot through it. Hey....my Dad did build it 34 years ago!!

Joe reinforced it with ply wood and now I have to recover it with white felt......

Today, I start the Dining Room. This is how I store my larger trees down in our Storage Shed.

Joe stopped at Burger King for supper on his way home with the tree yesterday and the girl in the Drive Thru commented that it looked like he had a body in the back. He said that "you never know " but told me not to unwrap the tree until today in case she wrote down his license number and sent the police to our house.........

Some new goodies for the Kitchen that I bought at J.C. Penney's .....

A Baking Santa for my Kitchen, of course!!

And who could resist this SWEET sign!!

This cupboard is just begging for a Christmas make over.......

Last year I bought these tubes of shatter proof balls at Target for 75% off at 25 cents a tube!

Inspired by all the great photos on many blogs last Christmas,

I changed this......

Into this.......
For about 50 cents....

And this.....

Into this.....
For about 25 cents...

Yes, yesterday, since it was almost 60 degrees here in Pa. , we decorated the outside of the house!!
Our tradition is to have the outside completely decorated by Thanksgiving and on Thanksgiving Day night, we light the house for the first time , starting the Holiday season!

Here is a sneak peak.....

My Childhood Sled, almost 50 years old!

I have a few finishing touches to add today. I did not get it finished yesterday.
All I will say is that is has to do with lights and Joe packing away the lights for the first time last year....
UGH!!!!

Here is my Craft Room Tree which is my Shabby Pink and White tree with a touch of green.....

And now I would like to invite all of my followers here at Debbie-Dabble to please sign up to FOLLOW me over at A Debbie-Dabble Christmas, my Christmas Blog.

So much beautiful eye candy. I've been scrolling up and down to take it all in. Your wreaths turned out so well with those extra ornament embellishments. I love the reference to a "body" with your wrapped trees for storage. hee hee.

Bring on Christmas!

Oh Debbie I am already in awe.. I just love your baking Santa. And the wreath make overs. How beautiful.

Your sled is just about how I do mine up. I had looked for one a few years back and when I posted my sister called and said I have two of them if you would like one it's yours. I found a pair of white skates at a sports shop that carries used skates for sale. Got a pair for $3.00 . I did use a wreath last year with a big red bow but think this year I might add a bit more to it.

I so love your pink tree. Gosh if you were closer I would love have you as a partner in the tree contest at the Senior Center for sure. I am getting excited to get our trees up too. Working on starting it all this week.

I look forward to seeing all your decorations. Enjoy your week off.

Hi Deb!

Your wreaths look beautiful. Love your pink tree so much, I can just look and look at it. I think you have inspired me to get my little tree down and decorate it this year. I would still like to find a skinny tree for the LR. Maybe at Menard's. I need to go look before they sell out. I hope your week off is a good one. I own you an email. My pc is on the Fedex truck to be delivered today according to the tracking. I will be glad to have it back. Talk to you later.

I bought several of those new cardboard houses at the wholesaler and they sold out the first week. I had a pink church, love yours. Music is divine. Richard from My Old Historic House.

Oh my goodness,
Your home is amazing! I so love the kitchen Santa. I may have to go to JC Penny this weekend and look at those Santas. I took all of my regular kitchen dispaly in one kitchen shelf unit and I filled the areas with Christmas dishes, cookie jars, salt and pepper shakers, jars, and other goodies I could find. I think I am going to take the things off the shelf on top of the windows and fill that with Christmas goodies too! Your home and blog have inspired me.
hugs,
Lynn
