VALENTINE PINKS in the DINING ROOM 2012!!

So sorry that I have been missing in action lately but since last weekend , I have just not been feeling well.
I thought I might actually be making a trip to the Emergency Room but I am feeling better now.
If my S&S of left upper abdominal pain flare up again and I am still not up to par, then I will need to go and have it checked out. I have been there and done that so many times before that I dread the thought.....

Anyway, I did manage to decorate the house for Valentine's Day.

I am going to share with you my Valentine's Day decoration in the Dining Room.

I have pretty much stayed with a Pink and White theme for Valentine's day in this room.

I left up my 7 foot Slim tree after Christmas and re-decorated it for Valentine's Day. This is the first of my 5 Valentine's Day trees ........

I left all the lights on this tree including the white and pink clear rose lights. I did add a set of red, pink and white heart lights.....

I am actually amazed at how many Valentine's Day ornaments I have.......

I used a bow at the top of the tree made out of pink ribbon that has a gold sheen to it.....

There is an ivory lace tree skirt and 2 cute heart boxes at the base of the tree.....

The ornaments on this tree are different style hearts.....

I also stuffed white velvet roses into the tree.....

And few chocolate candy ornaments....

Cherub ornaments.....

These white lace ornaments with the tassels I bought several years ago at Lowe's on Clearance for 75 % off and they cost a little over a Dollar a piece......

I used pink beaded garland.....

And I had made ornaments out of tags several years ago.....

On my windows that I hung to divide the Living Room from the Dining Room , I have hung hearts too....

Here is a heart that I made........

The large heart at the top is from Micheal's several years ago.....

And I also made this one....

Of course, I have to show you the tree lit up at night.....

I just love the glow of a tree at night....

Then I also have another tree in the Dining Room.....
This is Tree # 2......

This is a white feather tree decorated with heart ornaments that I placed on top of my Melodium.....

I made a bow for the top out of pink glittered ribbon bought at Micheal's at Christmas....

And more Victorian style heart boxes are around the base....

And I added some heart ornaments to the Chandy along with pink rose garland......

Can you see the gold hearts with the little crystal hearts handing in the center.....
These I bought at Target several years ago after Christmas.....

And I decorated my buffet.....

Again, I stayed with the pink and white theme....

Cherubs......

The picture frame is from the Dollar Store and I put a pretty Valentine's Day tag inside of it....

Hearts and more Cherubs.....

Faux candy and pastry are perfect for Valentine's Day.....

And my little stand between the buffet and the hutch.....

Once again, you know I cannot resist showing you the buffet at night.....

Well, that is the Dining Room Valentine's Day Decorations......

Also the 4 inches of snow that we received last Saturday was pretty much gone by Monday as we have been having rain and temps. in the high 40's!! Unheard of for Jan. in these parts.....

I started this Blog 2 years ago on Jan. 28th as a Birthday gift to myself ( the 31st is my Birthday) . Ginger of Glitter and Roses, whom I met on another site, talked me into starting a blog. My 3rd post was a post for Pink Saturday and it featured my Victorian Doll House , Nelson Crest.

Never did I think that 2 years and 246 posts later, I would have not one but 2 blogs.

And that I would have over 350 followers here on Debbie-Dabble and over 200 followers and 94 posts on A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!!

I have made so many friends here in Blog land over these last 2 years, both that have blogs and those that do not! Blogging has been one of the best things that has happened to me and how can I ever THANK all of you for joining me on this journey!

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!

Soon I will be telling you about a Giveaway that I will be having on both of my blogs to celebrate so stay tuned.....

Beautiful Romantic decorations!!
You certainly have more energy than 10 people!
Been watching the memorials to Joe Paterno. Two of my siblings went to Penn State & my niece is there in her sophomore year now. Also the loss of Dr. Matioli (not sure of spelling) from Pocono Raceway.
Such a loss.....
Take Care..... Marilyn

Hi Debbie, I so hope you are feeling better soon and do not have to go to the ER.
How do you do it my friend. Not well and manage to decorate so beautifully. Love all your heart decor and the faux cakes on the weights are always a favorite of mine.
The tree at night is gorgeous. So nice to cuddle up, recoup and just enjoy the glow.
Take good care.
Hope you have a special birthday on the 31st.

Hi Debbie :o) I was all smiles when I saw your valentine decorations...the tree is gorgeous, I love the boxed chocolates on it and all the wonderful pink! The heart hangers that you made are out of this world to die for... do you make and sell them? I wish you had an etsy shop. I hope your feeling much better now. All our snow is melted to but we are still supposed to get a dusting tonight. I don't look for it to be anything blizzard worthy...LOL! I put the comments back on my blog so come for a visit when you feel up to it...Hugs Jennifer

Debbie, you put me to shame with all of your lovely decorations and home decor. I love the trees lit up at night, winter is so dark and this just adds the right glow to the evening. Gorgeous! I hope you feel better, too!

I LOVE your decorations! I certainly would not have thought of using Valentine's Day decorations to decorate a Christmas tree! You are certainly creative! I think my favorite part of the tour was near the end, where you had lit the buffet with candles. The glowing light on all the knick knacks really made for a lovely scene. :)

At any rate, thank you for stopping by my blog today and leaving a kind comment. You certainly have a fun blog here. I'll have to come back again soon. :)

Blessings,

-M. Wildflower

Ms. Dabble. I can see why you do not have time for your doll house, this is amazing all that valentine beauty. And we just finished Christmas. I just put the last feather tree things away last night, figured better before tours today. I am afraid I cheat on the doll house, I glue gun the curtains and canapy up. Oh OPPS. But I do hand sew them. I am so pleased you stopped by and left such a sweet comment. Sissy Dog kisses and blogger love. Richard from My old Historic house.

Wow you vignettes are so pretty, and you have 5 trees to decorate. You must have a very big home. Everything is so lovely. Thanks for sharing you creative inspirations over at Sunday's Best.

Your trees are fun to see Debbie. Maybe it's because I've never really thought to decorate a tree for Valentine's Day, but I didn't know the stores sold Valentine ornaments. I've said it before, you you really need to bottle up your energy and sell it. I admire how you find the time to make your home so pretty both for you and others to enjoy.

My favorite thing you shared was the two hanging hearts with the angel wings.

Thank you for coming to my party each week. I love seeing what new things you have to share.

Hope you feel better SOON!
