I know I said that I would only be posting once a week on Thursdays but with the change of Seasons to Autumn, I have a lot to share with you so today I want to show you my Transformation of my Summer Front Porch to my Autumn Front Porch and there is a bit of Halloween thrown in too.
This is what the front porch looked like for the Summer of 2012!
I started at 11:00 am Sunday morning since it was a beautifully cool morning with temps. in the high 50's and low 60's.
I cleaned up and packed away all the Summer decorations and yard ornaments and Joe hauled the boxes down to our Storage Shed and brought home all the Autumn Outside Decorations.
I swept the porch and cleaned the furniture and finally at 2:30 pm, I was exhausted but FINISHED!!
And here is what our Front Porch and Yard look like now, all dressed in it's Autumn Finery!
This wreath I made and have had on the front door for Autumn for several years now.
Here is what this side of the porch looked like during the Summer.....
And this is what it looks like now.....
I moved some of the planters that the begonias were still blooming well in to the back yard and brought 2 pots from the back that had had petunias in them that had surely seen better days, to the Front Porch and planted Mums in them.
The terra cotta Jack O lanterns were flea market finds over the years and the pumpkin is a faux pumpkin that I use every year..
Thought it was perfect for Autumn.....
You can see I planted a Mum in the big white urn and beyond it is the other pot that I brought to the front from the back yard.
I sent Joe to Lowe's for the Mums so the mums are his choices. I think he did pretty good......
The Front Porch looks a bit different from last year because of the new wicker furniture that we bought in the Spring..
I love the brown wicker in the Fall setting....
With the weeping mortar used on the brick on the front of our house, it makes it easy to hang things off of....
My Autumn Plaques......
Since the weather is finally cooler now, it is quite comfortable to sit outside on the Front Porch now....
An arrangement of Autumn silk flowers....
With more faux pumpkins....
And more faux pumpkins with a lighted grapevine pumpkin......
For the Summer, I used this rather tropical looking side of these cushions on the chairs...
Fro Autumn, I flipped them over to this side which I think goes well with the Autumn Decor.....
This picture was taken around 4:30 pm when the sun is swinging around to the front of our row of townhouses.
However, my Front Porch will not have the sun shine on it now until April of next year since the Sun will never make it around to the front of the houses during the Winter months......
I added Fall Leaf Garland with orange LED lights to the railing.....
I placed some faux gourdes in this large planter around the mum....
The front Flower Bed under the Living Room window looked like this last year...........
I used this little wagon outside for several years but it was starting to show a little wear and tear......
This year, I decided the repaint it .......
And use it inside as part of my Living Room Autumn Decor.
If you missed the post on my Autumn Living Room Decor, please click HERE
This is what the Flower Bed looks like this year.
Since those shrubs have grown quite a bit larger than last year, I decided to keep it simple. I may get a hay bale to put in the middle with the faux pumpkin.....
I pulled out the impatiens that died in this planter and planted 2 smaller mums in it.....
Maybe a hay bale with look nice?????
I left the begonias in these planters since they are looking so good but planted 2 mums in the identical planter as on the other side.....
I will most likely plant mums in these large pots once the begonia die off.....
And this is the first of my 3 flags that I will use during the Autumn season......
This one still has a slight Summer Vibe to it with the sprinkler.....
And as Dusk fell, this is what the Front Porch looks like all lit up.....
This tree has orange and white lights on it....
A flameless candle creates a nice glow to the table....
And I have flameless candles in these Jack O Lanterns....
And now it is getting darker as Night time falls......
The lights you see in the background is from the Shopping Center that I live behind......
These look better now that it is darker, don't they?
The grapevine pumpkin lit.....
Love these orange LED lights that are now in Sam's Club for $9.99 for a set of 80.
And I have an orange bulb in my lantern....
Love the orange glow on my chippy angel....
So that is my Front Porch all decorated for Autumn with a bit of Halloween....
I asked Joe to buy Mums that had only buds on them so I will share pics with you as they open up to their full beauty.....
Hopefully, my outside Autumn Decorations will not end up looking like this as they did on October 30 of last year...
This was one of only 2 snow storms we had for the Winter season last year!!
I am thinking that we are not going to be so lucky this year....
UPDATE 10/18:
And I made myself a Halloween wreath for the Front Door:
So I decided the hang the large wreath that was on the Front Door originally , from the hook on the center of the house where I hang a large wreath at Christmas Time....
And this is how the house looks at night since the air conditioners are out of the windows and I put Welcome Candles in the windows.....
Please join me again on Thursday morning when I share my Kitchen Decorated for Fall/Halloween with you.....
I am finally getting the hang of using the New Blogger Interface to do posts . The more I use it , the more I like it.

I love your porch, esp. with the lights on! Hugs. Penny
So very pretty. I sure hope you don't get snow in October this year. I hope we don't get any at all this winter, but I know that is a pipe dream. Last winter was unusually mild, bet we get slammed this year, following our hottest, driest summer on record. Anyway, enjoy your lovely porch every chance you get, just in case!
what a wonderful space. i love it with the lights on, and i love the faux gourds in the white urn with the mums. i always have trouble giving up on my begonias now, too, since they are still doing well!
Debbie, outstanding gorgeous love the night pic's...I'm visiting from MetMonday BNOTP.
I'm new follower, come see me and follow back if ya can.
Wow I'm going to call you the energizer bunny! You did a lot!
The front porch looks great! I never thought about adding lights to my deco I just did, but maybe I will now!
Love, love, love! Thanks so much for linking up again! Also, love the Fall look of your blog!

Wow, what a beautiful transformation! Gorgeous!!!
Aren't you having fun. I can't wait to start getting out our Fall/Halloween decor. I might just cave in and start decorating the Halloween tree in the sunroom on Saturday. Your LED lights are amazing. I need to show these to my hubby. Love how cozy your front porch looks at dusk.
Hi Debbie: It all looks so pretty. As I was scrolling through, I was thinking I bet it looks pretty at night and lo and behold, there it was. It would still look good even if it snowed again..Happy Monday..Judy
Your front porch looks fantastic, Debbie! I love the leaf garland, the urn with gourds and a mum, and the fall flowers in a tall terra cotta vase. Your every attention to detail shows! Beautiful!
Hi Debbie! Your autumn porch looks great. I'm glad you showed what it looked like all lit up because I was thinking to myself how beautiful it would look all lit up and that it does! Great job and thanks for sharing! Gina

Very festive Debbie. Love it all lit up. Oh yes, I hope the snow doesn't come that soon in UT. It has happened before, but last year we hardly had any. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
