With a little bit of Snow.....
It looks so much better and more like Winter.....
These pics were taken at 6:00 am after it snowed all night.
I was off last night and did not have to drive through it this morning......
Actually, the 3-4 inches of snow fell overnight because when we went to bed last night , there was no snow at all.
Temps. in the 50's the past few days had melted it all.....
Love how the snow looks on the garland lit up.....
And yes, I was up on my day off at 6 am in the morning.....
I don't sleep much....never have.....
Love the snow in the Flower Bed.....
And in the back yard.....
And finally, daylight......
Looking toward the Shopping Center on the side of me.....
That is Lowe's Roof and you can see Barnes and Nobles in the Distance and Pier One to the right.....
In my front yard....
Scenes looking out the back door.....
I do love Winter and the change of Seasons.....
I would really not like living where there is not much change in the weather and I am no lover of warm weather.....
I am still taking down Christmas and will be re-decorating for Valentine's Day and Winter inside the house so I hope you will come back at the beginning of next week when I will have a lot to share with you.....

Looks pretty Debbie ! Wish we would get some snow in the Chicago area :)
Debbie, thanks for sharing these pics. Everything looks so pretty. It has been so warm down here in SC for the past week or so. I really hope we will get a little snow soon.
Lynn
Simply beautiful! I envy people who get to live where it snows. :)
O my goodness! It's so beautiful! We're supposed to get some snow tomorrow! Yippee! Can't wait! :)

Everything looks better with a bit of fresh snow. Gorgeous pics. The MI weather certainly has been cold lately. Our backyard ice rink has been getting fresh ice the week. We still barely have a trace of snow though. Fingers crossed for some this weekend. The girls need more sledding time!
Dear Debbie ..
Your photos are gorgeous.. Although I love the look of snow, Im happy to have a small break from the cold... BUT then again your pictures are so darn inviting ( Ha Ha) It's all looks so magical ( ha Ha)..Thanks so much for sharing the beauty ,,, Hugs
I love how everything looks with snow on it, so serene and peaceful. We haven't had hardly any snow in IL at all, just a few flurries and I am so missing it. Like you love winter, and snow is so a part of it. Can't wait to see all your lovely Valentine decor! See you soon!
The snow looks beautiful in the moonlight. Love your night pics.
Look at all of that snow!!!!!!!!
Oh, Deb, that looks so pretty. I'm still patiently waiting for ours to come. I didn't realize that you had such good shopping almost in your back yard. Love Pier One..Happy Thursday..Judy
The lights and garland look beautiful with just enough snow. Not too much!
Wow, it's gorgeous, Debbie! It looks like a magical winter wonder land! Wish we would get just a bit here, though I don't like driving in the stuff!
Lots of pretties and then a frosting of snow. Beautiful!
Looks beautiful, Debbie. You are a great decorator.

I love the first few photos with the snow on the greens and the lights shining through!
Enjoy your weekend!

Your snow scenes are beautiful, Debbie. Looking forward to seeing your Valentine decorations too! :-)
Snow can be so picturesque, beautiful scenes. And I love your entry..right out of a magazine!
*hugs*deb
There's something about snow that makes the world seem so quiet and at peace. Your pictures are lovely.
Debbie love the look of snow. We got some last week but it is all pretty much melted except in the shady spots.
Trying to get my Christmas down also- having a Hospice Volunteer training here today and tomorrow and with being gone last week I knew I wasn't going to get it all down in time so took down all the nativities and the big Christmas tree. Still looks like winter but not Christmas at least in the downstairs rooms.
bee blessed

Your decoratings are perfect now that you have snow. It did snow where I live the other day and I half thought about taking pictures to show everyone how little snow it takes for literally everything to shut down here in the south. However, by the time I actually thought to get the camera, it had melted. I guess I'll just have to enjoy the pretty pictures of your yard instead. Have a great weekend Debbie!
Deb,
Everything is so beautiful with the snow on it. We actually got 6 inches here in East Tn this week.
I cant wait to see your Valentine trees!
Take care,
Lynn
So beautiful! I too host a weekly party that you are welcome to join. Pin Me Linky Party
Debbie, you never fail to make me smile, thank you.
Your photos are wonderful; I LOVE the snow so it's a good thing I live where it snows most of the year ;)

Lynaea @ EverydayBloom.comFun to revisit the warmth and festivity of Christmas as I look at your beautiful lights. It is ironic that we're more likely to get snow after the big celebration...I'm glad the it brings you joy. I love snow too.
So pretty! Thank you for joining Home Sweet Home!
Sherry

hugs from Alberta Canada! ..where if you would like a little snow...you should never go...we are under about 4 feet of it already...and it's still falling! Pretty is one thing...but it gets a little much when you see it 8 months a year! lol

Hi Debbie,
Funny how pretty it looks with a fresh blanket of snow on the ground. But you know, I would give up the winter snow any day! I am not a Winter person. Our poor hubbies have to work out in it which is why I dislike it so much. If my hubby was retired, then I wouldn't mind it quite so much. I am thankful though that my guy is on vacation until the first week in February so he didn't have to work out in that cold today. It's going to be even colder tomorrow. It is minus 19 Celsius right now.
You are very welcome for the feature. It's obvious that our bloggy friends enjoy your posts! :)Enjoy the rest of your week, my friend.
Blessings,
Sandi
There is just one word to describe your porch and yard in the snow ~ MAGIC!
Big Hugs,
Susan and Bentley
Snow really does make everything prettier. Your decorations are even more lovely. Everything is enchanting.
I'm visiting from Home & Garden Thursday. Stop by if you get a chance.
Hi Debbie, Isn't it amazing how much beauty a little snow adds, as long as it's not out of control. If I could see Pier 1 from my house I would be over there way too often!! Love your shots of the bushes and trees covered in snow. I'm up earl every day because I like those quiet moments before the house comes alive! Linda
I am so jealous!! I want to see some snow. We were close to 70 degrees today. Everything looks so pretty in white. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful photos with us at A Bouquet of Talent. :)
XO
Kathy

Hey Debbie, I was just checking and didn't see my message - I think I didn't hit publish correctly - loved your post and I do appreciate you sharing with Home and Garden Thursday,
Kathy
Debbie, everything does look more magical with a touch of snow. I could however, do without the extra 18 inches we got yesterday! Crazy for sure. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,
Jann
p.s. your package is on it's way. Sorry that I was so pokey!
