We are having a heat wave here!!
It is 62 degrees here after being in the single digit temps. for about a week!! It almost NEVER gets in the 60's here in Pa. in Jan.!!! But it will be short lived as we return to more normal temps. with high's in the 30's until the weekend...... We had snow, ice and sleet the other day and that was no fun! And LOTS of rain yesterday.......
So is it still Winter where you live?????
Today, I want to share my Dining Room with you which I have decorated for Valentine's Day mainly in pink.....
Many of you who have followed me for some time know that I re-do several of my "Christmas" Trees and turn them into Valentine's Day Trees.....
I will be sharing 2 of them in this post....
If you missed my post on the Valentine's Day Tree in my Den, please click HERE
This is the 7 foot slim tree that was in my Dining Room for Christmas, now re-decorated into a Valentine's Day Tree...
I have amassed quite a collection of Valentine's ornaments or ornaments that can be used for Valentine's Day by shopping after Christmas clearance sales over the past several years....
I left all the lights including the rose lights on this tree along with the white beaded garland and white baby's breath that was tucked into the Tree....
I added a deep pink beaded garland and lots of pink and white Heart ornaments....
A nice pink bow and pink hearts at the top....
There are also a lot of cherub like ornaments on this tree that reminds me of cupids.....
There also are several white lace ornaments with tassels that I bought at Lowe's many moons ago....
I made the heart ornament with the music sheet paper and tag on it...
I also made ornaments out of tags , embellished with lace a few years ago....
I changed the tree skirt to a nice lace one that was bought at a flea market....
Some of my Dolls and a heart box are displayed at the base of the Tree...
On this table is a tea pot and pitcher that are from Avon and both were flea market finds.....
A Pretty Winter Scene on them.......
This sweet heart was a gift.....
A vintage Valentine postcard....
I have this on the bottom shelf of the table...
The little bird's nest is now in the Dollar Store , girls!!
I bought 4 of them.....
The mini tea set is of Hummel figures....
Now you know how much I love these candlelight pictures, don't you?
And over in the other corner is this vignette.....
Once again, I re-decorated this darling funeral basket that my dear friend, Anne Marie gifted me....
I hung a heart from the handle that I draped with pink rose garland.......
Another Heart box and a sweet Valentine Bottle from the Christmas Tree Shop....
This white feather tree was in my upstairs bathroom at Christmas.....
I re-decorated it with hearts and moved it into the Dining Room.....
I also left out one of my Pink Houses.....
Over on this little cabinet is my Melodium.....
This picture is of my maternal grandmother on the left and her friend. People say I resemble her.....
She is one of my Thomas Kinkade Pink Ladies from the Laced with Hope Collection....
I love the hearts on the bottom of her dress....
I have those lighted LED branches in the basket.....
Now moving over to the Buffet.....
This is the wreath that I made at Christmas and I decided to leave it out for Valentine's Day and display it on the buffet using a wreath stand......
The toile runner was something I bought from my fellow crafter, Rose Marie , at our church Craft Fair that her and I will now be in charge of for this coming year.....
Hearts and Cherubs......
My one Little Word for 2013 is JOY........
My friend, Anne Marie, gifted me this sweet Joy rock.....
You will be seeing a lot of this piece through out the year....
Another one of my Thomas Kinkade Pink Ladies from the Laced with Hope Collection.....
She is a true Victorian Belle, isn't she?????
The picture is of Joe's Maternal Grand parents......
Did you notice that I laid a set of heart lights on the buffet?????
I guess you could call these Love Birds.....
And here is the last of my Thomas Kinkade Pink Ladies from the Laced with Hope Collection......
Holding a bird......
At $48.00 a piece including shipping, I thought 3 of them was enough.....
Joe did buy me them as gifts but they are a bit pricey.....
This sweet bird was one of my great buys in my post, "I've Been Shopping"
The cherub planter was again, a flea market find.....
Some faux goodies and candy corn on a pretty plate.....
More faux goodies.....
This little frame was from the Dollar Store several years ago.....
The heart tin and cherub were also bought a few years ago at the Christmas Tree Shop.....
Love the light from those heart lights...
Some pinks on this little table.....
This picture is of what I call "Instant Relatives""
"Instant Relatives" are vintage pictures that I have bought at Estate Sales and Flea Markets....
The 2 figurines were Thrift Store buys....
More of my Dolls......
The top of the Hutch.....
More heart boxes and a sweet cherub votive holder......
And I love to hang things on the window dividers between the Dining Room and the Living Room......
Can you see the red and white lights to the right of the window??????
That will be my next post.......
A Slate from Michael's and a heart that I made a few years ago....
These are the lamp shades that I have used on my DR Chandy for some time now.......
You may remember that that I bought these at the Christmas Tree Shop on clearance for 99 cents each ......
I Dabbled a bit and added white Gimp to the top and bottom of each shade along with pretty beads.
Here is what they now look like.....
And here is the Chandy now with the new shades and a few hearts and pink crystal ornaments......
These are the pink crystal ornaments that I am talking about which I bought at Target after Christmas....
See the hearts and crystals.....
And there are also 2 vintage ornaments with sweet cherub faces hanging from the Chandy too......
So there are 2 Valentine 's Day Trees in the Dining Room and one in the Den, making the total so far 3 Trees.......
I want to Thank all of you for your Well Wishes in regards to my knee. After having it injected with Cortisone this time, it actually got much worse before it got better. I have been told that this happens some time and I feel that now it is getting better and will be fine........ until in 3 months, when I have to have it injected again.....
At least, I can walk now....
I have finally finished taking down all of Christmas in the down stairs but still have the upstairs to do yet.
But that will not be too bad.......
My next post will be of the Living Room decorated for Valentine's Day with my 4th and final Valentine's Day Tree.......
I hope you will come back and visit again in a few days.....

Hi Debbie! Glad to hear you are having a "heat wave" in Pa! Your pinks in the dining room is a beautiful post...I love it! I didn't know that T. Kinkade had figurines...she is gorgeous! You asked me about my knee earlier...no, I didn't have any injections before my replacement. I have a question for you...I can't link up to Kim's party at Savy but I can't figure out why. I put a link back in my post but it keeps telling me that I don't have one. Any idea's what I am doing wrong? Hugs, Penny
Isn't your house just dripping with romantic Valentine goodness!!! I really love your white feather tree with the heart ornaments too. I hope my ornament made it safely to your home. Hang in there with the weather. We had beautiful snow just days ago and now it's a flooded mess. Snow is expected again starting tonight. Hugs!!
What a tribute to Valentine's Day, Debbie. Amazing the amount of decorations you have and put out. I think your wreath transitioned beautifully.
I LOVE those little lampshades...they are just darling- xo Diana
Hi Debbie :-) yep, you are definitely ready for valentines day...lol! I just love your chandelier with all the crystals and new shades, just beautiful. I enjoyed looking at all your faux sweet treats and that yummy candy bar too. The tree's are fantastic....love everything! Have a super week, hugs Jenniferm
Hi Debbie, Your pink tree is gorgeous and oh so Victorian - perfect for your home. I love the pink heart-shaped box, the pink church, and the faux goodies. Pretty, pretty, pretty!
Hi Debbie! Well, there you go again putting us all to shame with your Valentine decorations. Your tree is gorgeous and I love the rose lights on it. Every inch looks perfect.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Debbie....I don't have a single decoration out...not a one! Your tree is beautiful! If I ever have a larger house, I'd like to keep a tree up all year around too and change it with the seasons and holidays! Happy VTT
Oh my goodness! There's so much decor goin' on in there it's like visiting an antique shop!
I do love the white teapot lamp up there in the header - - -
Wow, Debbie, beautiful as always! I'm cracking up again over your "instant relatives". So funny!
I'm hosting my Homemaking Linkup Weekend and would love to have you join, if you'd like!
Have a great day!

You have certainly been busy! Come by if you can.. Blessings, Debbie
Always a fun visit. Gorgeous tree. I love that shape!! Your collection of Valentine's Day ornaments is amazing. So Victorian and pretty. Your cherub collection obviously blows mine (three things lol) right out of the water. I am feeling less guilty about my splurge and think I should add to it!! Always excited to scroll down as I know I will see everything lit up so pretty!!
Karen
Debbie, Your Pink Valentine's Tree is spectacular! You really know how to decorate for the holidays. Your pinks in your dining room are beautiful. Love the lights, so romantic! Thanks so much for sharing at Simple & Sweet Fridays.
Jody
You do have an amazing collection of valentine ornaments. Beautiful tribute to St. Valentine!
Trees aren't just for Christmas! This is very beautiful! I'd like to invite you to participate in my Pin Me Linky Party. It goes Fri-Tue. I allow up to 3 links each week! It starts at 8am CST.
Happy PINK Saturday....well, you are all set for Valentine's day. I've decorated a Christmas Tree for Valentine's as well....not to the extent you did, but I enjoyed it none the less! Your ornies are awesome as are allllll of your other decor!!! Love the vintage basket with the heart. I have a big collection of those old baskets....I love the light green color!
Have a great weekend! We had those 60s earlier in the week in MO, but now we're in the deepfreeze big time. brrrr!
Dana
So pink!!! Beautiful Valentine's tree... lovely idea! So many thoughtful touches you have put into your home and decorations. Beautiful.
~Tanya p.s. Love Somewhere in Time too! You have a new follower.
I love the idea of leaving trees up all year to decorate for the various holidays, but I have never done it. You are certainly making use of yours!! Hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day - I think you will!!
Debbie:
You sure do it up right for every season. Your close up shots are most interesting.
Great to have you be a part of Seasonal Sundays.

Darling lamp shades but those dolls have my heart! Always an excellent tribute to the Valentine Day holiday! I appreciate you sharing with us and your wreath is wonderful! Have a beautiful week!
Visiting from Metamorphosis Monday. Love your heart light garland…so very festive.
wow! You do a lot of decorating! Love the "new" chandelier, and your room is very romantic for Valentines Day.
I love your redo on the lampshades. They turned out so pretty! Everything looks so romantic Debbie!
It's far from a heat wave here on PEI. We've had blizzard-like conditions off and on all day. Hubby came home from work early because of it. I'm glad he's not out there in the white-outs.
I love your valentine tree and your pretty shades on the chandy. The teapot and pitcher are very cute too. Thank you, Debbie, for sharing with us and have a good week.
Blessings,
Sandi
Very beautiful!
Thanks for sharing with us!

Hi Debbie,
What a wonderful time I had viewing your lovely Valentine post! I love all of your ornaments, so very pretty. You have such wonderful treasures! Wishing you a great evening!
Nancy
Another semi heat wave is on the way this week up to the mid 40*. I'll take it. Sure beats the 8* we had here last week.
Don't you just love neighbors like that. I got a great little table that my neighbors were going to trash too. It is painted and in my livingroom now. I love it.
Debbie it is amazing to me how much time and energy you put into decorating your home. I would not have the energy to put all that stuff up and take it back down.
Its everything I can do to decorate for Christmas, that is the only time I put out and enormous amount of decorations.
Your decorations are gorgeous! I can tell you really enjoy your home and make it special for each holiday.
Debbie, that is one decked out tree! Lovely! I adore all of your beautiful lady figurines. They are so pretty! Thank you for sharing this at the Make it Pretty Monday party at The Dedicated House. Hope to see your prettiness again on Monday. Toodles, Kathryn @TheDedicatedHouse
This is just so glamorous and the idea of changing your trees to Valentine trees is great! The heart and cherub ornaments are something I have thought about placing on the chandelier but this is even better! Your house is really "Pretty In Pink". Thanks for sharing your home!
Pam
Wow, totally unreal. Thanks for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
